Well, it would be alot healthier for your hair if the extensions were being replaced on an appropriate basis. Imagine having old extensions in forever! Lol, gross... anyways, after yo take out all extensions and before the new ones are added in, wash your hair, when your hair is in extensions you either can't wash you hair at all or cant wash it properly so make sure you wash it. Depending on which method you used to get your extensions. If you got them glued, they'd probably just add new ones on. If you had them use the interlocking/weaving method, they would take it out and re-do them for you.
