if your talking about the ones they tie into your hair.. on some people they hurt sooo bad and they itch. so if you have a sensitive head i would re consider.

Hair extensions can be installed by bonding, sewing, or braiding. I used to put my weave in by gluing it, until I realized that the glue would get all tangled in my hair. Then, I started having it be put in by sewing it. This allows my hair to grow, because no heat is being put on my hair. There are also no chemicals being put in it. You would be amazed at how much your hair can grow from weaves. However, it is not advised for you to leave it in for longer than three months, because your hair can break off after that.

You can pretty much have your weave be put in any way you want it. Just ask a stylist about your options.

what thy do is braid a row along the scalp around the head...( avoiding getting too close to your face or you would see it) and along that braid a weft of hair is sewn on....ussually people will get 2 rows or 3...but never go to the top of the head or it would look weird!! i have had them and there ok...i find they grow out fast ...6 weeks and it would start to bug me!!

A weave in sewn into a corn row base. Generally the top has a small section of your natural hair that overs the track of the weave. A good tech can really cover their work and make it look natural. Good extensions are not cheap and cheap extensions are not good. If you are serious, save some money and book a consultation with a tech. They will answer all of your questions. Hair extensions require a lot of time to put in, maintain and take out. Best of luck.
