could you give me either a link to a site that shows me or some help?
I have those glue in hair extensions with a weft now all i have is the glue and the hair so how do i put it on
First assuming you're african american because I've never heard of this being on any other hair type. Don't want you to damage your hair.....First you want to slick your hair back and down. Mold it with a good super hold brown gel. Or sometimes people leave part of their own hair out. Look at the link below. Buy bonding glue at beauty supply stores selling black hair care products. It is applied to the weft of the weave hair. You need to precut your weft by measuring it against your head. For instance imagine taking a shoe string and placing one end on the left of your temple and laying it across the back of your head until the other end reaches your right temple. If the string is too long cut the remaining string. This is what you would do with your hair weave. Then you apply the glue to the weft and stick it to your hair. You want to hold it in place and also use a blow dryer to help the adhesive hold. Place the tracks a few inches apart. This can last up to 2 weeks. You CANNOT shampoo your hair with the tracks in. To remove them get a friend to help. Purchase glue remover and glue remover SHAMPOO- this helps to wash out the glue residue after all of the tracks are out. Unfortunately that's as detailed as I can get. Check out the link below. This is a tough subject to research on the internet. I'll tell you how I first learned to do this. I went to a salon and had them do it first ($65 not including the hair- get 2 packs) then I could tell what they were doing and now I do it at home myself. The link below shows you with pictures what I've tried to explain to you. Look under the section for "bonding" click on the picture on the right hand side. Good Luck. Practice makes perfect and it is a bit messy.
