How do i explain side-swept bangs and layers to a hair stylist?

i have a picture of the side-wept bangs I want, but not the type of layers. I have a longish face, so what type of layers should i get and how should i explain the type of layers i want. i`m getting 10" hair extensions.

Hey KARA. I'm KARA too! haha, sorry, it's just that I don't meet many who spell it the same way.

Since you don't have a working printer, I suggest you either get your picture developed OR you can phone a nearby printing store (Kinko's or Staples) and see if they will print a picture from the internet or from your email. Just last week we had, I think Staples do that for us. Hope it works out!

long layers,or just ask what would look better on you.

i tell them i want a 'swooshy bang' and show them what i mean by moving my hand across my forehead how i want it. and with layers, just say choppy, long, short, even, uneven, high, or low when describing them. Long faces look good with choppy layers. If you still aren't sure, ask the stylist what they think would look best.
