the best to use is 100% human, because you can curl or flat iron and it looks more natural.....i do extensions , not tracks....and my favorite seems to be dena cali, lots of colors and textures. i always use the texture closest to my clients natural texture......go to a good palce, (doesn't mean expensive) and they can do them for you.

I prefer using human hair extensions other than synthetic.

Since you didn't give any information on your race or hair type, all I can do is give you generic advice. If you want really high quality hair I would go with the brand Bohyme. You can consider this as an investment if you wear weaves a lot because you can wash and reuse the hair. They have all kinds of types, textures, and colors to choose from, the price starts at $60 per bag.

In addition to Bohyme hair, you can also use Zury products as well. If you are a "weave" expert, you may want to invest in "remy cuticle" hair. It is the purest form of human hair, although it is very expensive. The brands for this hair varies, but you can do an internet search by using keywords remy cuticle

From your avatar, I am assuming that you are black. It depends on what price range you are looking for. Do not do synthetic unless you have braids (not micros) or a temporary ponytail. If you want something affordable that looks great, try Dena Cali or Milky Way. A lot of my customers use Dena Cali, thats actually what I recommend. Its about 25-30 a bag. It doesnt shed that much and keeps its look and softness (some cheap weave may shed a lot, tangle, or get hard). Milky way is in the same price range. Im not sure about its long term affects, but a lot of my customers are starting to use that also. If you want to splurge... DO NOT use Beverly Johnson...dont let the price tag fool you...just because it is expensive does not mean it is good hair. I would go with some type of Bohyme. Its in the 60-70 range. Its especially good if you want to keep your extensions for more than a couple of months.
