if you or your friend is unsure, than your best bet is to talk to a beauty advisor or hair stylist. thats what i did and it helped out some, but i will go back soon and talk to them and find out more and have them put them in my hair.

Go to Sally's. synthetic is the best and easiest to work with, in my opinion. It also depends on if you're doing it yourself or not. Try to get a color that matches your hair as close as possible, which is really hard if you have light brown or dark blonde hair, or any variation of the two. Very dark or very light hair is easiest to match.
