Ive wrecked my hair extensions( cut them) help!?

right, so i ahve clip in hair extensions, but they got all split at the ends, so i took them out and cut each layer seperatley straight accross ( i have three layers).

then, i put them back in my hair and it looks stupid because i have layers of three different lengths cut straight accross!!

how can i fix them without going to the hairdressers, as my mum will kill me if i have ruined them

dont cut them straight across do it in a diagonal, use thinning scissors on the bottoms or if all else fails - buy new ones without her knowledge!

maybe try to curl them to make them look less choppy..
