Don't do it they'll look cheap!! If you want hair extensions get them done professionally. Spend a bit of money, that way they'll look good and last longer.

The cheap ones LOOK cheap!!! Best saving a little longer and pay more it is worth it. Do you have a Sally shop nearby - they stock really good ones.

When you get them take someone with you to help you choose a shade that's closest to your own colour, or go for a dramatic difference ie blonde with brown. you can get them with mixed colours and these are good if your own colour is hard to match.

Don't use glue, buy the ones with clips attached. Then you can have them in and out as you please.

Personally, I like them more when all the hair is curled so get out the tongs or Velcro rollers and give it a try - looks fabby!!

The cheap ones can be found relatively cheaply on ebay (as with most other things!) they can be bought for around 8-9 quid at that length. Real hair can be bought also.

The tiny clips at the ends of say a one inch wide hair extension are not very visible, depending on the hairstyle you choose. They can be quite good for boosting pin-up hairstyles to give more volume etc. but for hanging I would go with the real hair rather than synthetic, they can be curled, straightened, hair sprayed just as you would your own hair. They usually come in packs of 6 to 8 in that length, so you can choose how many you want to add for whatever look you're looking for and can trim a few of them so you have varying lengths etc. I'm not an expert though.

my 2nd cousin works at a hairdressers and says yes to them (she's not the sharpest tool in the shed but i spose she knows her stuff), but they look a lot better worn curly.

I get hair extentions quite frequently, i don't think you gonna find anything cheap. I get the waxed ones for just about $600, and the clip in ones are $200. But its worth it, looks realistic. If you want to pay cheap, ur gonna get cheap quality
